Job Description La Jolla Group is looking for an SMU Graphic Designer, for Juniors & Men’s. We are passionate about our products, sports, lifestyle and most importantly, our employees. We believe strongly in taking our brightest employees and advancing their careers. Responsibilities: • Work directly with the SMU Design Director and Art Departments to create seasonal graphics to be applied on a wide variety of styles. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of graphic design, with a solid sense of design and typography. • Knowledge of all La Jolla Group brand heritage as well as current trends in design, art, fashion, and apparel. • Maintain calendar deadlines, be detailed oriented and work well in a team environment Requirements: • Superior skills in Creative Suite OSX including Illustrator and Photoshop. • Minimum 2-3 years experience • Degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a strong portfolio • Clear understanding of company philosophy and art direction • Able to organize and present concepts in a clear and concise manner • Excellent communication skills and work well with co-workers and management • Ability to take direction You must include samples of your work or a portfolio to be considered.
