Job Description
We are an established private label manufacturer/importer that specializes in supplying brands in the action sports, moto & extreme sports industries, with men’s/ladies sportswear, technical apparel, sports bags, and assorted accessories.

We have an opening for a local (Orange County based) technical professional, with working experience in above (or similar) categories.

You will work under the direction of the Production Manager and be in total charge of all tech packs, fit & construction, QA/QC and management of Asia factories regarding these matters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Initiate development specification packets by interpreting design concepts.

• Create and update specification packets, including detailed technical sketches, graded measurement specifications and construction details using Adobe Illustrator.
• Evaluate samples from vendors regarding interpretation of design and execution of fit and construction.
• Communicate with overseas vendors regarding construction and fit and communicate fit corrections and updated specifications to vendors where necessary.
• Review vendor’s samples and suggest corrections as needed.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve any manufacturing limitations and make alternate suggestions.
• Issue final graded production specification packets.
• All QA/QC management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Two to four year degree
• Experienced with the construction of technical outerwear, sportswear and accessories.
• Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, MS Excel and Photoshop.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet calendar deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of garment grading, patterns and manufacturing.
