Job Description
BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for technical education of all product categories to Oakley O Stores domestically and internationally, Oakley Sunglass Icons, tradeshows, sports marketing events, special events and military. Categories include: Eyewear, Goggles, Footwear, Apparel, Accessories, Watch and Rx.
Responsible for maintaining a detailed training schedule to ensure all new store openings, existing stores, sports marketing and special events have been properly educated and represented based on grand opening schedule, seasonal product lines, marketing demands and sales associate turn over.
Responsible for the maintenance, calibration and preparation of all technical testing equipment and consumables on the Rolling O Lab; which includes all general housekeeping of trailer and truck inside and out. The Rolling O Lab must be in pristine, show condition for every presentation.
Illustrate and present Oakley's High Definition Optics (HDO) Performance Technology Package which includes optics, impact and UV Protection and how it relates to the ANSI Z87.1 Testing Standards.
Illustrate and present Oakley's performance characteristics for Apparel, Footwear and Watches using key testing equipment referencing relevant standards and hands on demonstrations.
During optical presentations solve problems that arise related to Oakley's optics, frames and lenses.
Required to comprehensively learn and present ALL new Oakley technologies for all categories for each release and season.
Research competitor's new products, materials, and technologies to keep up to date on current industry performance.
Technically educate all International and Domestic Sales and Tech Representatives annually with performance attributes for all categories.
Required to be trained and licensed for Class 3 transportation and to maintain license while employed as Factory Pilot (Oakley will fund licensing program).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Strong communication skills with the ability to initiate, establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Detail oriented, strong organization skills, time management (timelines), and deadline driven.
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present complex, technical information in a clear and understandable way.
Ability to plan, schedule and multi-task activities while meeting objectives.
Heavy travel within the United States and limited travel internationally.
Well organized.
