Job Description
Ready, Set, Graduate! That college finish line is just around the corner; all you need now is a killer internship to seal the deal. Sole Technology is looking for ambitious and driven college students to work for a three month period (start date is flexible) in our Visual Communications Department as a Photography Intern. So if you want to pick up some stellar tricks of the trade from one of the hottest companies in the action sports industry, then stop what you’re doing and apply today. As Photography Intern you will be responsible but not limited to the following:

• Assist photo coordinator on photo shoots – both product and lifestyle.
• Learn product photography in our in-house studio.
• Learn lighting and color processing of our product shots.
• Learn how to style and assist with apparel photo shoots.
• Assist in obtaining all necessary items for a location shoot.
• Learn and assist trafficking of shots to our art team.
• Prep items for photo shots.
• Assist in pre and post production of photo shoots.
• Catalog film & digital files.
• Learn how to manage metadata and maintain our photo archive.
• Assist photo coordinator with daily administrative tasks.
• Assist photo requests for national and international clients.
• Assist in maintenance of sample warehouse.

To be considered as a qualified candidate you must meet the following criteria:

• Must be enrolled at a school partnered with Sole Technology, Inc.
• Must be currently enrolled at an institute of higher education.
• Must be a Junior or Senior level status.
• Must receive school credit for internship.


The successful Intern will have the following skills:

• Well versed in: Photoshop; Bridge; Aperture; digital cameras SLR; and digital backs.
• Detail oriented
• Multi-tasked
• Able to work autonomously as well as on a team
• Interested in photo shoots in advertisements, catalogs, and publications
• 1-2 years design experience and education.
• Fluent in CS3 InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of how to use email.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal, team building & relationship management skills
• Eagerness to learn
