Outside Sales Rep
Territories: Central IL, Southern IA, Kansas City, MO
Position Location: Quad Cities, IA, Iowa City, IA or
Peoria, IL
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute Oakley Philosophies to promote and maintain
Oakley image with in territory
Direct sales of Oakley Eyewear, Rx Frames, Rx Lenses
through Oakley distribution via superior planning and
execution
Responsible for continually evaluating and assessing
distribution, looking for viable opportunities while
remaining true to the established Oakley distribution
philosophies
Establishes and maintains Oakley brand name by marketing
with the proper retail , athletes and public sporting
events
Provide design and strategic development feedback to the
Regional Channel Sales Manager, Channel Director and
Channel brand manager
Identify and execute on new distribution opportunities
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up
Brand recognition and knowledge
Protects, maintains, and enforces our current position in
the market
Prepares sales region for future Oakley product sales,
leading the company to the next level by taking advantage
of new releases while maintaining proper focus on
existing styles which are meaningful to success of the
territory
Perform account needs: training, merchandising,
assortment planning, advertising support, store
ambassadors, while managing a positive relationship with
all accounts in the territory
Attend all applicable trade shows and retail events
Responsible for creating and maintaining a quarterly loop
schedule centered around focusing on key accounts in the
territory
Achieve forecasted financial sales goals by month and
quarter

THE QUALIFIERS
3 years minimum retail sales or management experience
1 year minimum of outside sales experience
Retail and wholesale knowledge of the Optical
distribution channel
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Adapt to fast paced atmosphere
Interpersonal skills, analytical
Self Starter
Proficient in Word/ Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and savvy
in other computer software programs
Considerable travel expected

Oakley product knowledge
Ability to influence
Licensed Optician
