Job Description
Quiksilver is looking for a Global PLM Support Lead to join the team in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Position Summary:
As the Global Business Product Line Management (PLM) Support Lead, you will be responsible for liaising between global business users and regionally-located PLM (+other systems) Support Team, including IT, to provide individual and group support for “product development* workgroups”, define & implement improvements to business processes, and the tools to support them. Definition and implementation of new processes and strategic priorities defined by the global executive team. You will be involved in various stages of rolling out new functionality, also participate in creating process maps, requirements documents, and testing and training materials. You will actively participate in facilitating global process decisions in relation to PLM and related systems. You will be directly responsible for ensuring alignment of global master data for those elements which are ‘owned’ by PLM or the Planner tool.

*product development workgroups: planning, design, product managers, developers, sourcing

• Represent all regions as the “lead” in identifying gaps or required product planning, design, development, costing process improvements which best accomplish the ZQK global goals and initiatives.
• Work with regional PLM leads and PLM technical partners to prioritize and complete cross functional projects or technical improvements.
• Work with/coordinate work with business resources (or other) technical resources to provide suggested solutions in process or system design for existing gaps or proposed efficiencies.
• Consult on impact of operational changes to system design, reports, functional output or process impacts, providing solutions to support desired operational efficiencies.
• Oversee global master data residing in PLM and Planner tools to ensure alignment to global master data model.
• Lead functional team prioritization, testing and approval of system changes.
• Approve all movements to production of technical changes in PLM.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of PLM.
• At least 2 full-lifecycle PLM implementations

Required Skills/ Experience:
• 3-5 Years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelors Degree
• Broad-based working business process knowledge within the subset of product planning, design, development & costing
• PLM working knowledge
• Project Management experience, related to apparel and/or footwear product development
• Strong computer and Product Development knowledge
• Working knowledge of Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, HelpDesk/Workflow tool
• Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills in multicultural global environment
• Ability to work effectively within or lead a team, physically or virtually
• Ability to travel for extended periods of time
• Strong facilitation and project management skills
• Ability to multi-task and reprioritize quickly as priorities or deadlines change
• Strong communication, interpersonal, & management skills
• Strong team building and listening skills
• Strong problem solving from an open-mind, next steps perspective
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize
