JOB DESCRIPTION

Quiksilver is in search of a Corporate Recruiter to join the team at headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY //
This position will manage the recruitment process from sourcing through hire within a fast paced and high volume work environment. The ideal candidate will have proven track record within the Apparel, Footwear or ITIndustry, using creative and alternative recruitment strategies to identify, attract and hirequality talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Provides hiring managers with advice, direction, and direct feedback throughout the interview and selection process to assist them with making informed hiring decisions.
• Sources candidates through a variety of recruitment methods such as employee referrals, internet, cold calling, networking
and job fairs to ensure we find the most qualified candidates.
• Meets with hiring managers to develop specific recruiting plans that support their business goals and functional needs.
• Screens resumes, interviews and refers the top qualified applicants that meet the functional needs of the department to hiring managers for interviewing. May provide initial screening for managers to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, competencies, and salary requirements.
• Extends offers to selected candidates and arranging for relocation when necessary.
• Helps develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
• Attracts applicants by writing advertisement and job postings based on hiring criteria.
• Assists with projects and initiatives.
• Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management

• Adhere to local, state and federal laws

JOB REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE //
• Strong communication (verbal, written, listening) skills
• Strong attention to detail& Highly organized
• Ability to prioritize and multi task in a demanding environment
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers
• BA/BS and a minimum of 7+ years experience in the recruiting field.
• Experience with high volume, full cycle, corporate and executive recruiting.
• Evidence/Examples of successful, creative recruiting and sourcing candidates.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
• Proficient in using various search tools to attract and recruit applicants
• Extremely detail oriented with strong follow through skills
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills required
• Strong customer service oriented attitude
• Experience working in Action Sports, Apparel, Footwear or IT required
