Dark Horse Distribution is a company that was founded by Donald Cassel who originally started Grind King Back in 1988 with the invention of an allen head kingpin bolt that improved the performance of skateboard trucks. This simple product was followed up by several other skateboard hardware invention that established Grind King as an innovative company. Within a few years Grind King started making trucks and since than has risen to be one of the leading truck brands. Along the way Donald started other brands and found it necessary to form D.H.D. to encompass the different brands under one corporate umbrella. Today those brands include: Grind King, Termite, Kreper and Grind Queen(a girls clothing line) and recently picked up the license for Dogtown skates and apparel.
