Environmental responsibility has been in our DNA since 1996. At TGR we take countless measures to do our part and support Protect Our Winters, 1% for the Planet, and The Surfrider Foundation. We are proud to continue that tradition and introduce our first 100% recycled collection of TGR apparel. Each recycled garment saves 12,000 gallons of water and 8 plastic bottles. We source our cotton from recycled shirts that have been sorted by color to avoid using chemicals or harmful dyes. This gives our garments their signature heathered look. Plastic bottles are also recycled and sorted by color to create the vibrant polyester yarns used in our garments. We’re taking single-use plastics and LITERALLY spinning them into apparel you can wear for years to come! All of this is made possible by our genius friends at Recover.
