Woodward West summer camp is the home away from home for kids from all over the U.S. and abroad. Campers come to Woodward West to hone their skills in skateboarding, BMX freestyle, inline skating, mountain biking, BMX racing, and gymnastics. Woodward West’s summer camp season runs from May to September for kids ages 7 to 17. Campers get an opportunity to skate or ride with their favorite action sport pros and train with gymnastics Olympians. In addition to action sports and gymnastics training, campers enjoy recreational activities, such as swimming, bowling, basketball, and digital photography. Camp facilities include a 54,000-square-foot indoor riding facility, perhaps the largest ever built for its purpose, a 12,000-square-foot, all-wood skatepark, and a 20,000-square-foot concrete skatepark. The gymnastics building is over 24,000 square feet. The gymnastics facility is open year-round and offers locals gymnastics instruction and exercise programs for adults during winter months.
