House of Quirky launched in Australia in 2005 when founder and designer Rachel Evans decided that girls with an eye for fashion were being short-changed. Only cashed up girls could afford really well-designed fashion and it seemed unfair. House of Quirky was born to design inspiring and original collections for any girl who gets great design. The business has grown dramatically since that time, through an expanded portfolio of brands and categories and, in more recent times the strong international growth worldwide. House of Quirky’s design ethos centres around the concept that fashion should be fun, affordable and a little bit quirky. “We follow a pretty simple formula when we design. We just ask ourselves - what do we want to wear? We always followed that philosophy because that’s exactly how girls shop. Fashion isn’t serious, shopping and getting dressed is supposed to be fun. We just wanted to create brands that encapsulated that feeling” says Rachel. Today we have over 10 brands including MINKPINK, Evil Twin, Somedays Lovin, Hunt No More, Staple the Label, Quirky Circus, The Lost Girls, Paint it Red and loverbird. We are stocked in 1000’s boutiques worldwide, have thousands of loyal followers who just love our brands, and employ more than 200 passionate staff.
