This confidential youth lifestyle and action sports brand located in south orange county is looking for a key role in their global marketing team. Reporting to the global marketing manager, the Digital & Social Media Coordinator will be responsibly for driving the brand’s digital footprint globally as well as acting as the brand voice. An understanding or experience in the action sports and youth lifestyle category is critical to the success of this role.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
• Create best practices for all regions and social media accounts
• Manage social communities; responsible for community growth, engagement and innovation
• Measure all activity through analytics, KPI’s and ROI
• Strategy and planning for the brand’s digital footprint short and long term
• Responsible for developing original content including blog, newsletter and brand email marketing initiatives.
• Act as the brand voice through all copy, messaging and communication for both digital and off-line assets
• Calendar development, management, for all digital activity
• Identify new and emerging digital platforms to build brand awareness and engagement
• Work hand in hand with Web/E-Comm team, creative services team to develop content programming, original content needs and all creative assets for digital deployment
• Coordinate with brand ambassadors across sport, music, fashion and art
• Create KPI’s for social media, track and analyze performance, measure ROI for both brand and its ambassadors
• Manage and coordinate paid advertising efforts with external agencies and internal stakeholders including e-commerce team
• Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately
