Job Description

Etnies is looking for a lead role on their global marketing team. The Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the brand and consumer marketing strategy, implementation and execution across the globe. Working across multiple categories and regions; this role will be based in south orange county and be responsible for all marketing efforts related to the Etnies brand.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist in global marketing strategy development
• Develop, build and execute seasonal marketing strategies targeted to create brand hype and increase sales.
• Directly responsible for implementing and executing the global marketing strategy
• Develop and manage the global marketing budget to plan
• Directly responsible for managing brand ambassadors, retail, communications, events, media relations, paid media and partnerships
• Manage a team including creative services, skateboard marketing and digital marketing with cross functional management of a shared services group
• Responsible for curating the global Go-To-Market calendar and plan
• Collaborate and coordinate efforts across product, sales and marketing departments
• Drive seasonal brand briefs to assist in development of product and sales strategies
• Lead efforts of key account retail marketing
• Drive the content engine through
• Research, maintain and report on marketing ROI; monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Constantly analyze and share results to maximize ROI
• Translates marketing goals, consumer insights, and industry best practices into strategic on-brand concepts and creative tactics that advance the company’s merchandising, marketing, business and/or branding objectives.
• Designing product launch strategies, tactics, timelines and metrics for success
• Introduce and qualify brand, consumer and category research to make informed decisions
• Collaborate and lead external partners, agency resources and/or stakeholders to meet and exceed brand objectives
• Build and deliver brand presentations
• Creative concept/production management; location sourcing, model casting, sourcing props & materials and gathering all content to review concepts

Job Requirements

• 3-5 Years experience in a similar role
• Understanding of global landscape with added focus on European market
• Exceptional time management and planning skills.
• Ability to manage small teams and react quickly to environmental changes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as Keynote
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel (up to 50%) and be in the field for company events and activity
• Need a entrepreneurial mindset and go-getter; detail oriented and self-starter
• Ability to think ahead and forward; propose ideas and solutions
• Must be able to work autonomously while being very collaborative
• Must thrive in a small team environment and be able to wear multiple hats as needed
• Understanding of action sports and youth lifestyle culture including primarily skate, surf, snow, outdoor, bike, fashion, music and art.
