Quiksilver is in search of a Senior Sales Planner to join the team in Huntington Beach, CA.
SUMAMRY //
The Sales Planning team is responsible for providing the highest level of analytical & planning support to executive management, sales management, & sales representatives to compile & achieve the company’s sales goals. As a Sales Planner, you will be expected to help develop, validate, and consolidate regional sales forecasts for our Wholesale teams. This analyst will be asked to make forecast and inventory purchase recommendations at a geographical and product category level that allows the organization to better meet demand, mitigate risk, and maximize profitability. Key to this success will be establishing a clear link between sales plans/budgets and demand plans/inventory purchases. Regular reporting and analysis are also key tasks associated with this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Develop strong working relationships with local sales, product, marketing, demand planning, and finance teams
• Collect and organize appropriate and accurate data required to support timely and intelligent decisions
• Compile/prepare reports, graphs, and charts of data developed
• Collaborate with local teams in order to define the top level Sales Plan/Financial Plan
• Join forces with local sales and merchandise analytics teams in order to define assortment plans
• Team up with local product managers, sales teams, & finance to forecast future season volumes & mix based on analytics and historical similarities/trends
• Partner with local teams in order to capture all of the signals (promotions, discount, events, major changes in door count, etc...) to be reflected in the detailed forecast
• Provide strong support to Demand Planning
• Guarantee alignment between FINANCE,SALES, and PRODUCT Plans at the regional level
