Quiksilver is in search of a Field Marketing Rep to join the team covering the Mid Atlantic region.

POSITION SUMMARY //
The Field Marketing Rep is responsible to amplify the exposure that our brands receive at the store level. The FMR will regularly visit targeting accounts in their territory. The objective of this role is increasing sell-through at the focus accounts. The FMR trains shop employees about our brands, products, campaigns, and merchandising standards. The FMR is responsible to implement visual merchandising, maintain brand standards, and effectively communicate results and issues to Sales and Marketing leaders. This person will develop relationships with shop employees and us tactics to increase the passion for and understanding of our products. The FMR will also create and execute local-market activities to attract consumers and drive traffic to their focus accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES //

Retail Activities - 60% of time
• Oversees a territory of 20-30 doors from various channels, with efforts distributed across out brands
• Responsible for the merchandising standards of accounts; drives results, communicates issues to leadership
• Educates retail employees about merchandising standards, products, selling skills, and other initiatives set by the Training Manager
• Creates unique training opportunities for shop employees such as clinics and product demos
• Supports key store events, ensuring store staff is properly trained and prepared for activations
• Supports trade marketing by reporting issues to Trade Marketing Manager, helps by solving in-field problems
• Assists with seasonal floor sets, window fronts, and other merchandising needs as requested by Sales Reps
• Monitors and helps coach the performance of any third party merchandisers in their territory

Marketplace Activities - 30% of time
• Supports and amplifies Sales Rep activations; assist in creating and driving new experiences for consumers
• Creates opportunities for consumers to connect with our brands, such as demos, clinics, and other events
• Supports the Sales and Marketing teams as requested during Global and Regional events
• Attends regional trade shows and sales meetings as requested by Training Manager
• Identifies local market influencers; establishes relationships, creates ambassadors who support our brands

Administrative Duties - 10% of time
• Submits visit recaps to provide shop intelligence, competitive analysis, and product feedback to leadership
• Creates quality event recaps that drive learning and best practices among cross-functional teams
• Manages business and personal calendars, travel, and expenses
• Assists with creating visual merchandising guidelines as requested by Sales Reps in their territory
