Job Description

Quiksilver is seeking a highly motivated Treasury / Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for (1) weekly cash flow and liquidity forecast and reporting (2) day-to-day cash and product vendor management (3) providing business support to SG&A departments and assist with month-end accounting closes and quarterly forecasts (4) ownership of the weekly liquidity review and (5) prepare regular management reporting packages.

This role is highly visible and requires strong communication, analytical, and decision making skills. Responsibilities:

TREASURY
• Develop and manage rolling 13-week cash flow and liquidity forecast
• Monitor and communicate working capital and capital expenditures requirements
• Understand full P&L and working capital impacts on liquidity; provide working capital improvement initiatives
• Manage vendor communications and product financing
• Partner with tax department to effectively manage intercompany cash movements

FP&A SUPPORT
• Support Senior Financial Analyst in SG&A financial forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close procedures
• Support Distribution and Logistics function while partnering with operations teams in the distribution warehouse
• Work closely with business leaders to track actuals versus forecasts each month
• Partner with various department heads to identify sales or cost cutting initiatives to improve profitability of the Company; create action plans and provide data-driven analysis to support proposals
• Manage monthly capital expenditures and project tracking
• Monthly invoice reconciliation and accounting reclasses
• Develop and institute automated reporting tools for the finance, wholesale, retail and ecommerce departments

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist FP&A team with monthly forecast and reporting, and annual budgeting
• Support wholesale, retail, ecommerce and SG&A finance during forecasting periods
• Prepare actual result presentations for Senior Management


Job Requirements

Required Experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate finance, banking or consulting role with demonstrated increasing responsibilities
• Accounting, Finance, or Economics degree required; MBA and/or CPA designation preferred
• Excellent analytical & financial modeling background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Proficiency in articulating complex financial issues to all levels of employees and management
• Ability to work independently and use analytical skills to draw conclusions from incomplete data
• Proven ability to perform to strict deadlines and be able to work independently
• Experience with financial database/reporting software preferred (e.g. SAP)
• Strong critical thinking, business curiosity, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must display ability to interact with a wide diversity of people and excel in a team environment
• Foreign Language proficiency a plus (French or Spanish preferred)
• Some international travel may be required
