The Breakdown:
The Technical SEO Specialist will be responsible for the performance of burton.com across search engines.

What You Get to Do:
! Work within our Global Search Program strategy to implement on-page and off-page SEO to align with industry-accepted best practices
! Regularly monitor the performance of burton.com to identify high priority technical SEO issues
! Manage the technical SEO roadmap to identify and outline short-term and long-term development priorities
! On-page SEO: refresh meta data and category/collection page content as needed
! Off-page SEO: manage the backlink portfolio of burton.com, including the regular maintenance of redirects and disavow lists
! Testing: create and execute data-driven SEO tests (quarterly)
! Work closely with Web Development, IT, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that SEO interests are properly represented
! Act as an internal resource for SEO news and updates
What You'll Bring to the Team:
! Minimum 2 years of SEO experience, either for a brand or agency
! Experience with SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs, Alexa, etc)
! Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Data Studio, Google Optimize, and/or other analytics tools
! Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
! A working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
! Google Analytics Individual Qualification certification preferred
! Salesforce experience a plus (Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
! Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Google Big Query are a plus
! Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Our HQ is based in Burlington, Vermont. We will offer relocation assistance to any candidate who is hired if they are able to move to Burlington.
If living in Burlington is not an option, we are absolutely open to candidates living in/working from other locations (in the US). In this scenario, we would expect the person hired to generally be available during eastern time zone hours.
