The Breakdown:

As a member of the Burton Brand Creative team, the Designer works as part of a team that translates brand objectives and concepts into innovative design solutions. You will maintain authenticity to Burton's identity and brand values while driving a consumer-centric point of view in all bodies of work. The ideal candidate will have an interest in living an active lifestyle, snowboard culture, the outdoors, art, music, fashion, and experiences. Our crew thinks big and executes accordingly. This role is an opportunity to learn, grow, and play a key role on an industry-leading creative team.

What You Get to Do:

! Work on the creative execution of a wide range of projects, digital, print, environments, experiences.

! Research and brainstorm with team members to create and innovate ideas/solutions.

! Gain direction from senior creative team members and demonstrate the ability to creatively collaborate openly and efficiently.

! Create identities, logos, branding, and campaign assets.

! Develop comprehensive photo and creative documents.

! Continuously develop and maintain Burton Brand guidelines and provide feedback to maintain the brand best practices.

! Be responsible for the visual appearance of pixel-perfect, organized, and easy-to-understand design assets and documents.

! Opportunity to own design for clearly defined smaller scope projects.

! Respond to feedback and provide constructive feedback.

! Work in a collaborative, positive, and creative team environment.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

! 3-6 years of professional design experience with fluency in the areas of creative standards, digital design, graphic design, UX, typography, color theory, composition, illustration, and content development.

! A systematic approach and the ability to work in many different styles (hand-drawn to digital).

! Proficiency in the use and adaptation of design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

! Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and calmly under pressure.

! Laser-sharp attention to detail.

! Proficiency in processing and implementing feedback clearly and consistently.

! Ability to collaborate within a team as well as independently and proactively.
