The Breakdown:

Temporary position: The Global Paid Media Strategist will develop and champion their global strategies through training, standardization and best practice sharing across Burton. Paid Media channels include both traditional and digital media, including, but not limited to paid social, display, OOH, podcasts, print and CTV/OTT.

Does not include affiliate or paid search.



What You Get To Do:

! Forge strong working relationships with business leaders, regional teams and agencies to develop media strategies

! Train regional teams on internal procedures, best practices and tools

! Monitor the industry for new trends and buying strategies and solicit new concepts and tools that will help grow and enhance our business

! Set global strategy for digital audience targeting and segmentation by channel, identifying key customer segments

! Analyze and develop actionable insights from campaign key metrics

! Build full-funnel paid media frameworks and media mix recommendations

! Provide forecasts and projections for spending, revenue, and ROI

! Drive continuous improvement through implementation of new and creative ideas; develop a robust test and learn plan

! Work with Customer Insights Team on consumer, competitor, and market conditions to influence future media strategies

! Oversee global digital wholesale strategy. Includes co-op/MDF consultation and ecommerce standardization (online stores, sell-through assets, etc.)



What You'll Bring:

! Minimum 5 years of experience at a media agency or within a marketing team of a recognized brand

! Strong ability to build and analyze audiences

! Primary background in digital paid media and experience in launching and testing emerging media opportunities

! Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, analytics, and reporting.

! Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, fostering the ability to work with internal and external business partners in all levels of an organization

! Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Rockerbox and/or other analytics platforms

! Experience working with CRM data to inform and affect marketing campaigns

! Experience using Facebook Business Manager, Google Ad Manager and other similar platforms

! Traditional media buying experience a plus

! Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to tactical planning

This position is fully remote for the duration of the contract. If hired on full time, relocation to VT to be considered.In this scenario, we would expect the person hired generally be available during eastern time zone hours.
