The Breakdown: This position is responsible for providing ownership that clearly executes against our future strategy for Burton's eCommerce website. This individual will collaborate with regional and global teams to clearly define company projects while championing the needs of the business teams and stakeholders throughout the development process; ensure what is delivered meets original goals and KPIs. What You Get to Do: • Driving and supporting the overall eCommerce strategy through partnership with global and regional teams in building out solutions that drive Burton's business forward. • Collaborate with UX/design, product, engineering teams and third-party vendors as well as business stakeholders to deliver on product vision that focuses on Burton's customer • Share the vision and collaborate on decisions needed for major scope areas taking into consideration cost, timeline, dependencies, and impact • Identify opportunities to improve process with proposed solutions • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage story backlog; understand how to balance quick wins with long-term platform investments • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals • Clearly communicate progress and challenges across multiple functional teams and stakeholders • Effectively present and communicate with senior executives and articulate a point of view; strong communication skills with ability to tailor message to the intended audience • Work collaboratively & drive the launch of the projects under your area. Make thoughtful decisions on the fly, constantly clearing roadblocks to get your product live. • Must build and maintain strong partnerships with the DTC and International teams. • Flawless execution of our current strategy, which has multiple features coming online over the course of the next 12-18 months. • Hold responsibility in meeting sales targets for Global eCommerce business • Delivering system integrations and performance, delivering new or revamped customer experiences to specific markets and/or product lines. • Monitor costs and work within budget This is a global position in which it is important to influence the actions and performance of the DTC channel for North America, Europe and Asia although there will be no direct lines of reporting. Impact, influence, and strong process oversight while being able to measure success are integral to this position. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or relevant experience Travel Required: The position will require overnight and international travel.
