The Breakdown: This position is at the center of Marketing project excellence for Burton Americas. The Creative Services Ops Manager oversees the projects portfolio and resource management of marketing efforts across digital, environmental design, events, and new ventures - promoting a design-focused approach every step of the way. The Creative Services Ops Manager will partner closely with Global Creative Services Ops to leverage global assets and processes to execute in US & Canada. This role reports to the Americas Marketing Director, with dotted line reporting to Director, Global Creative Services Operations. What You Get to Do: • Align team on global strategy and liaising with Global Creative team. • Represent the Creative team regarding Creative resources in the form of availability, capacity and skill-set. • Ensure teams are appropriately resourced to deliver against business, brand and operational objectives - identifying gaps and sourcing external resources (individuals or agencies) to support work as needed. • Partner with greater Marketing team to optimize processes, tools and communications practices to achieve the â??squadâ? mentality. • Build and develop internal process to support effective, efficient workflow. • Bridge communication from Creative to the Marketing team, helping realize vision and foster through execution. What You'll Bring to the Team: • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Communications. Coursework in Design, Project Management a plus. • Solid understanding of project lifecycle and process: able to understand complex project requirements, understand briefs, and recognize potential risks and dependencies relevant to resourcing work. • 5 years of business experience; At least 3 years' experience working at a respected agency or within a creative marketing team of a recognized brand. Strong project management skills that enable ability to execute complex projects with tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Experience in design that enables ability to lead, mentor, and manage the work from production & design team. Both from a quality and deployment perspective. • Presentation and leadership skills required.
