Are you an innovative and motivated Trim & Materials Developer that is looking to work with a highly progressive and collaborative team? Then we are looking for you! The Breakdown: As our Trim Developer, you will assist our Softgoods Development Team to source and develop all trims for all winter and seasonal business. You will help drive the commercialization of the product line from initial textile concept to final specifications for salesmen sample production and final bulk production; executing trim materials to be in compliance with timelines, quality, price, and functionality. What You Get to Do: Manage all materials outside of fabric (zippers, buttons, snaps, cording, artwork, logo, piping, etc) and be developing across multiple mediums of materials which have to comply with different timelines, quality, price, functionality, application. Managing a centralized materials business Source innovative, sustainable material and accessory development for all softgood (outerwear and apparel) categories Manage full transparency of a sustainable supply chain Ensure on-time and on-price trim development Facilitate quality test standardization Utilize a centralized web-based PLM system for all trim material management and record keeping. Work with mill partners to track developments, deliveries and meet timelines. • Work on special projects/collections in addition to in-line business. • Work with the Creative Team to fully understand and satisfy needs. What You'll Bring to the Team: A Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Experience in materials and/or trim development. • An understanding of textiles and product life-cycle, garment construction, and trim application (preferably in the action sports business). • A highly organized demeanor with the ability to manage multiple projects/timelines. • A positive and "can do" attitude excelling in cross-functional relationships.
