The Breakdown:

The primary purpose of this position is to work with the business, IT and development teams to design and implement solutions for the IT Global Project Portfolio. This is a hands on role focused on providing IT functional support of our global finance and controlling operations within, and connected to, our ERP environment. To be successful, the right candidate must be able to provide functional support of our current SAP environment in the FI/CO modules, configuration of new functionality or applications, and play a key role in our future systems implementation.

What You Get to Do:

Work with Global and Regional Finance organizations to design and implement solutions that meet the business requirements

Develop process flows, conceptual designs, and specifications

Estimate resources, costs, and timing to deliver required functionality

Must be able to work simultaneously with business, development and application owners

Provide input for, and assist business with, building test plans and documentation

Perform the necessary system configurations

Work with Development teams to implement custom solutions

Perform system troubleshooting activities

Support of SAP's FI module, including GL accounting, accounts payable/receivables, asset accounting, validations//substitutions, document splitting, and logistics invoice verification

Support SAP's CO module, including profitability analysis, profit center accounting, and cost center accounting

Assist in the support of non-SAP finance applications

Assume the role of project leader as required

Be accountable for timelines, cost estimates, and resource planning

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Requirements & Qualifications:

5-7 years of SAP FI and CO experience with an understanding of the integration points with other SAP modules

Minimum Education level: Bachelor's degree - Accounting / Finance

Experience in a global business environment

Proficient in financial operations processes and concepts, including currency translation, consolidations, intercompany processes, banking functions, month end processes, budgeting, inventory valuation, etc.

Experience with material ledger a plus

Well versed in troubleshooting systems issues and debugging ABAP is a plus

Identification of expense reduction opportunities through analysis of resource utilization and unit cost trends

Good communication and leadership skills

Adaptability, flexibility and willingness to be hands-on

Understanding of Capital Projects and Project Governance

Strong working knowledge of Cloud Computing, Software as a Service, and other IT Services and related contracts, cost modeling and optimization a plus.

Excellent Excel, Microsoft Office Suite skills, and reporting tools such as SAP BI and Power BI

Systems integration experience with packages such as OneStream, Taxware, Infor Nexus, and Concur

Licenses or Certifications: MBA/CPA/CMA a plus
