The Breakdown:

The Global Creative Operations team is at the center of operationalizing Burton's Marketing agenda. Project Managers at Burton lead a portfolio of projects from project planning to creative development, to managing alignment across teams to ultimately getting the work to final completion.

There are 2 open roles

! The Digital Initiatives Project Manager role will focus on managing the digital brand experiences for our premium event series and seasonal brand and product campaigns. Key partners in this role are the Creative squads, Content creators, Brand management and Web development

! The Retail Initiatives Project Manager role will focus on managing the efforts of the Burton brand experience in retail environments globally, in our owned stores as well as wholesale partners
The skills that are essential to both roles are the ability to cultivate effective relationships across functions and with our regional partners, strong written and verbal communication skills, super-hero multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.

Both roles reports to the Global Director of Creative Operations, with a dotted line to the Global Director of Events/Experiences

What you get to do:

! Develop project plans that integrate with the overall program plan. Track and report ongoing progress to stakeholders

! Gather and document project requirements and specs from various stakeholders

! Manage project space; including documentation, deliverables, and status updates

! Facilitate weekly standups amongst resources to ensure alignment and track progress

! Partner with Creative Resource Manager to ensure resource availability

! Partner with Content teams to manage the creation of photo/video/copy assets

! Lead meetings throughout the project lifecycle; scheduling, facilitation and follow-up

! Manage budget if any outside content/support is needed

! Work with cross functional teams to ensure progress is being made and work to eliminate hurdles as they arise

! Package and deliver assets in a timely manner

! Help organize and maintain asset library

What you bring to the team:

! Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

! Minimum 3 years professional experience in Project or Account management at an agency or in-house marketing team

! Proven track record of managing multi-media marketing projects successfully

! For the Digital role, experience managing digital brand experiences, web development, and cross channel campaigns is critical

! For the Retail role, experience managing retail programs, including brand graphics, signage and fixture programs is critical

! Collaborative and can-do attitude

! Expert organizational skills

! Ability to function well in a fast paced (sometimes hectic) environment under tight deadlines

! Fluency in project management processes, workflow and terminology
