The Breakdown:Â
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager for our new Denver Flagship Hub slated to open in late August. The Store Manager is responsible for achieving store sales goals, ensuring the highest standards for customer experience, and engaging the local community through special events and partnerships. As a Hub location, the Denver Store Manager will manage a space that is part Retail Store and part Wholesale Showroom. In this exciting store concept, the Store Manager will work closely with our Rockies sales team to collaborate and integrate teams across retail and wholesale channels to deliver a unique experience for customers, wherever they are.

What You Get to Do:Â

Operations - 70%

• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide a superior customer experience for all Burton guests
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Recruit, hire, manage, train, and develop all store staff with a focus on continuous learning and development to build bench strength
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Apply and teach effective selling strategies to associates on a continuous basis
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Motivate and drive team to achieve daily sales targets and transactional KPIs
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure all operational processes and policies are always followed and maintained
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintain accurate inventory levels, achieve operational KPIs, and achieve shrink targets
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Execute on all visual merchandising directives and ensure that standards are maintained at the highest level every day
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Own and manage the P&L budget for your store, controlling all store expenses within budget
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Execute on both in-store and remote events to build your community, drive foot traffic into the store, invite new customers to the brand, and achieve sales targets
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Build partnerships with local corporations, businesses, social groups and organizations to integrate your store team into the fabric of the local community in a positive way
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Manage store social media content creation to effectively engage your community and promote sales
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Manage all digital directories to ensure information is updated frequently, always accurate, and reviews and questions are addressed timely
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Constantly adapt new technologies and ways of managing the business and connecting with customers
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work cross functionally to support the customer experience of both our brick and mortal retail and ecommerce channels

Human resources- 30%

 What You Will Bring to the Team:

• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 5-8 years of Retail experience in a large volume retail environment, with at least 3 years of direct store manager responsibility
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong operational, organizational, and analytical skills
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent leadership and communication skills across multiple levels
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Passion for snowboarding or strong desire to learn
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent networking abilities
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with event execution desirable
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Passion for prototyping new ways of doing things, drive to challenge oneself, and a willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Continually able to walk up and down staircase, carrying boxes, product, and other necessary store related items
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Comfortable climbing ladders
