Burton is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable seasonal full-time customer service â??Hybrid Guideâ? to help set a new standard in customer satisfaction servicing Burton.com, Flagship stores and Performer Program customers. We are hiring in several locations: Burlington VT, Boulder CO, New York, NY, Santa Monica CA, Montreal Canada.Â

What You Get to Do:Â

• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide a superior customer experience for all Burton guests. Services include helping customers with product, order, and warranty questions via the following channels: Phone, Email, Chat, and Face-to-Face in store.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â This role will split time between sales floor guide and on the phones guide.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Guide and educate customers about the Burton, Analog, and anon product lines.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work alongside the Burton E-Commerce and Flagship Store teams to share knowledge, training, and customer feedback
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Establish professional one on one relationships with customers and internal partner.

What You'll Bring to the Team:Â

•         Must be familiar with a variety of concepts, procedures, and practices in relationship to the outdoor and snowboarding industries.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Snowboard industry experienced is highly regarded. 1-3 years of employment experience in a customer service role or comparable industry related service environment is also is required.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with order management programs along with customer service software is preferred.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Must have a positive attitude, be detail oriented, and work independently while maintaining a "team and customer first" mindset.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The ability to work a flexible shift in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing demands is required.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must to assist a wide range of varying customer types.
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong Initiative and adaptability are required to be able to juggle several different duties at once, while never losing sight of excellent service.

Physical Requirements:

• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Continually able to walk up and down staircase, carrying boxes, product, and other necessary store related items
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50lbs
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Comfortable climbing ladders
• Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Comfortable with wearing a mask for entire shift
