Dwindle Distribution, located in El Segundo CA, is looking for motivated Inside Sales/Customer Service Representatives with action sports hardgoods, footwear, & soft goods experience. This position is hourly, plus commission. Full-time, Monday thru Friday and some weekends.
Qualified candidates need to have a solid understanding and background in the action sports and lifestyle markets as well as the brand building process. The inside Sales/Customer Representative will manage, sell and service independent retail accounts working with outside field reps, striving to achieve sales and profitability goals each season as set by the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a strong customer service relationship with buyers, field reps, sales associates and all internal partners as well as proactively targeting and identifying business opportunities.

• Must be a team player, reliable, friendly, courteous, understanding and hardworking.
• Learn and remain proficient on all Dwindle product lines.
• Must be focused and dedicated to sales and customer service and pushing the company forward.
• Must have proven ability to generate sales leads and close deals.
• Drive expansion for the brands in action sports retailers and lifestyle boutiques, building the respective territory for the brand throughout the core and mainstream markets.
• Maximize the brands potential within each account by ensuring good positioning of product and working with buyers to ensure good sell thru and profitability for retailers.
• Proactively build and develop relationships with major accounts and conduct strategic calls.
• Review orders, deliveries and maintain records of all account activity.
• Provide shipping and tracking information to customers
• Attend all required meetings and trainings that are offered
• Some travel may be required
• Additional duties as assigned
• Experience working with Outside Reps and Retail Accounts a must
• 2+ years experience in Sales within the Action Sports industry
• Ability to sell
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to clearly communicate through conversation and writing
