The Manager, Marketplace Merchandising, Action Sports - America is expected to utilize deep consumer connectivity & strong analytics to deliver consumer-right, data-driven product assortments according to marketplace capacity that meet or exceed the Americas revenue targets within the Action Sports Consumer Environment & ensure mutual profitability with Zumiez & Tillys as our Strategic Wholesale partners.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

For the Consumer Environment
! Provide a deep understanding and experiential connection with Skateboarding and/or Action Sports consumer
! Drive fact-based decision making
! Define long-term Wholesale Marketplace strategy
! Collaborate with Regional Category Merchandising to execute the Global Product vision
! Share capacity plans with Regional Category Merchandising to refine future assortments
! Collaborate with Operations, Planning and Finance to inform segmentation decisions

For Strategic Accounts
! Work closely with the cross-functional teams throughout the go-to-market (GTM) process to define & execute key objectives
! Lead seasonal product assortment meetings, capture buyer feedback, and utilize business analytics to inform Marketplace assortments
! Deliver account feedback within the Environment product briefs

How you will do it:

This role is part of the newly created Marketplace Merchandising Team within the Americas Product Merchandising function. Successfully building this capability from the ground-up requires a growth mindset, an ability to make complicated things simple, comfort with ambiguity, and high emotional intelligence.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 9+ years

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

! Ability to navigate and analyse reports to support decision making
! Expertise in merchandising from concept to on-floor
! Skilled in implementing merchandising strategies
! Excellent ability to manage people through influence
