About the job

Vans is looking for an experienced marketing leader to drive our global mobile app strategy to deliver personalized commerce and content experiences for our most engaged community members.

You will be responsible for developing and distributing seasonal marketing plans to support the launch of new products and in-app experiences. Deliverables include developing global marketing plans, program calendar management, analyzing consumer insights, and briefing in business requirements to inform the development of new in-app experiences.

This role requires experience overseeing mobile apps, strong communication skills, and relies on managing relationships with internal and external partners. You will work closely with teams in Marketing, Creative, Digital, DTC, Finance, and others.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

! Partner with global and regional marketing teams to integrate the mobile app with brand, product, event, communication, and action sport marketing strategies.
! Represent the mobile app and all regions in the seasonal go-to-market process.
! Develop global campaign calendars and creative briefs to support seasonal plans.
! Collaborate with global and regional marketing departments to amplify the mobile app across all communication platforms.

How you will do it:

! Ensure thorough and timely communication to key stakeholders (e.g., senior management, product organization, regional leads).
! Develop test & learn plans to optimize mobile app marketing tactics.
! Measure marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
! Evolve and support mobile app adoption and retention strategies.
! Work cross-functionally with digital partners to design, develop, and launch new mobile app experiences.

What success looks like:

! Accelerate consumer adoption, demand, and growth across mobile app key performance indicators.
! Act on insights and develop new ways to increase consumer engagement, transactions, and retention.
! Evolve the mobile app experience and deliver features and benefits that exceed consumer expectations.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+ years

Educational Position Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years marketing management experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

! What we expect you already know: Experience managing a team and/or contractors, mobile app marketing, project management, excellent communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of youth culture, music, art, fashion, and retail. You bring curiosity and and openness to learning new skills.
! What we will teach you: Working across multiple regions to deliver a unified consumer experience. Integration into Vans holistic global and regional Go-to-Market and other processes within a matrixed marketing organization.
