About the job
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to join our team based in Milan to support the HR Retail strategy serving around 50 stores.
Let’s talk about the role! As a HR Business Partner, you will work with the Country HR team, the District Managers, the Store Management and the EMEA HR Retail Community, you will help execute the Retail HR strategy and provide a confidential and efficient HR service to all Retail associates.
Daily, as a HR Business Partner, you will:! Act as a Business Partner, building effective partnerships with managers and associates to achieve company goals and build our VF culture in our stores and teams
! Be on the field managing day-by-day relations with District Managers and Store Managers to foster the capabilities of their teams
! Ensure our stores are Talent focused, from recruitment to talent management and pipelining working together with DMs and Talent Acquisition team
! Support Store Management in executing an efficient onboarding for new hires from day one
! Drive Learning and Performance Management ensuring performance management is implemented effectively and building and delivering trainings & development plans for our store’s teams
! Ensure that our administrative processes are efficient and accurate, monitoring all workforce contractual aspects and policy adherence
! Support Store Management with employment relations, applying all admin/legal policies and procedures and directly managing ER cases effectively and within a positive framework when necessary
! Understand the EMEA HR retail strategy and be able to translate it locally while contributing to the projects and initiatives at European level
Skills for SuccessTo succeed as HR Business Partner, you must be able to build strong relation and a deep understanding of our people strategy for retail. Transforming it into practical solutions that add value for our stores and associates. We are looking for:! Solid HR experience in a fast-paced multi-site environment, retail experience is critical
! Great result orientation with a proactive approach
! A positive attitude and a growth mindset
! Understanding of the store needs and set the right priorities
! Ability to multi-tasks, to prioritize and to work against deadlines and under pressure
! Ability to work accurately and autonomously, with great attention to details
! Degree in HR, organization or business is a plus
! Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially excel – Workday is a plus)
! Fluency in English (written and spoken)
! Willingness to travel up to 40-60% (company car is provided)
