VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Vice President – Supply Chain Operations (EMEA) to join our Supply Chain Team, based in Stabio.

Let’s talk about the role!     

You as senior leader within the global supply chain team, deliver operational excellence and continue to support the development of value creating capabilities focused on the EMEA region. You will ensure that the Supply Chain continues to support the evolution of the marketplace and responds to the changing consumer journey to deliver the multi-year brand volume projections. Ensure that regional SC needs are appropriately shared, represented and executed against through the Global SC matrix / network.

As the Supply Chain (SC) representative on the Executive Leadership team (ELT) in VF’s most profitable region, you will lead the SC operations group, representing all aspects of the global supply chain matrix within this leadership team. You will be responsible of creating new and evolving existing SC strategies to support and enable profitable business growth while developing and managing the SC team to secure day to day operational needs, delivering key SC KPI’s.

As leader you will support the development and leverage of best practice across brands and functional areas within the region, driving process innovation with a continuous improvement mindset, centered on enhancing the customer & consumer service proposition while optimizing the supply chain cost to serve.

This position has direct responsibility for all regional demand and supply planning signals and resulting commitments. It has responsibility for regional distribution centers and fulfillment strategy as well as the regional customer service function. 

Primary Accountabilities:
!
As the most profitable region within VF lead the SC Operations function for the 11 brands operated in Europe across 15+ direct markets and all forms of distribution channels (wholesale & direct to consumer)

!
Establish consumer centric and brand enabling SC strategies which take account of the evolving marketplace dynamics, the increased need for omni-channel integrations with the digital titans and an elevated degree of speed and agility in business practices & processes.

!
Manage the regional VF monthly and quarterly inventory levels for VF, achieving monthly/quarterly shipping targets and for securing the on-time delivery vs DTC demand or consumers / customers’ requests.

Oversight of Supply Chain Operations including all disciplines: Demand Planning; Supply Planning; Customer Service; Distribution Centers; Logistics; Customs trade / compliance and Inventory Management including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) for Supply Chain activities.

Leverage a region Supply Chain center of expertise to support the effective development / deployment of end-to-end business enabling capabilities, to drive process and business optimization and support the enhancement of supply chain analytics.

Ensure distribution and fulfilment platforms are in place to support the growth trajectory of the business (both short and long term), while evolving capabilities which address new consumer and market requirements in a cost-conscious manner.

Secure the diverse evolution / growth of the regional SC team, supporting the growth of the global SC talent pool by proactively managing talent moves within and across regions / functions to secure a robust talent pipeline.

Through the regional customer service platforms (for both Wholesale and eComm), deliver elevated customer service to our commercial partners & consumers.

!
Assess resource levels and system capabilities on an ongoing basis to ensure that the needs of the business can be met while ensuring that the ‘cost to serve’ remains within budgets and in line with business expectations.

Manage the Supply Chain team across four principle office locations; Switzerland, Belgium, UK and Italy and four DC locations (UK, Belgium, NL & CZ) in addition to partnering with the Global Supply Chain team in Denver, US and the Product Supply function based in Singapore.

Skills for Success:
!
Education: Degree in BA, BS, Engineering or Finance

!
Experience:  Must have a senior level of senior supply chain, contracting, sourcing experience from 10+ years in footwear / apparel or other related Supply Chain operations. Proven experience in developing and executing Supply Chain strategies.

!
Leadership: As a leader of over 3000 associates in the EMEA region, have demonstrable skills in creating, leading and evolving high performance teams. Ability to drive consensus and lead through influence at all levels in the organization to achieve a common goal

!
Language skills: Professional written, verbal communication and well-developed interpersonal skills that drive the ability to work w/diverse personalities in a tactful manner
