Employee Relations Manager: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
As the Employee Relations Manager, you are a member of a team focused on supporting the employee experience. You will provide employees and leaders with support and guidance to address concerns, grievances and policy questions. Your advisement will provide clarity and coach employees to be the best version of themselves. You will be responsible for conducting thorough and fair investigations while gaining analytics about employee experiences. We will use this data to drive improvement in our culture and VF Purpose.



How You Will Make a Difference:
1.You will have the opportunity to advise and assistsleaders and employees with a broad range of employee relations situations including coaching, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, separations and other issues that might be highly sensitive and complex in nature.
2.You will oversee and develop a team of employee relations advisors Conduct internal investigations on workplace situations and prepares all required documentation with a focus on issue resolution.
3.Maintain knowledge of industry trends, federal and state employment legislation and ensures company compliance by updating and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance for multiple states.
4.You will be responsible for preparing data analytics to the appropriate corporate partners to drive change and improvement in current practices.
5.You will exercise your entrepreneurial spirt to develop and implement policy and procedures enterprise wide.

Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5-7 years

Educational/ Position Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of one year general management experience in the Employee Relations field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience working in the multi-unit retail or restaurant industry a plus
Ability to demonstrate strong and effective communication with all levels of the organization and Senior Management

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Travel by air and overnight, as required 5-10% amount of time.
Lifting and/or bending up to 15lbs.
Willing and able to work additional hours unexpectedly when needed.
