Customs Platform Engineer Front-end; Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family

As the Customs Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the Director of Customization and other VF technology teams across the digital and creative work streams to lead development efforts for the new Customs platform. On a daily basis, you will get to interact with many talented people who allow you to embrace a wild and curious imagination to create extraordinary changes and results.
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented, proactive, andself-managed front-enddeveloper to join the incredibleVans/VF digital team to revolutionize our product customization program. Work closely with product owner, business analysts, and technical team to develop iterative improvements to the product customization program.
Responsibilities:
A Customs Platform Engineer, Front-end will own, manage, scale and enhance the front-end deployment solutions powering VANS Customs 2.0 solution across all web channels Coordinate and align with 3rd party development partners and other platform development resources Communicate and partner across cross functional business team including Site Operations, Product, eCommerce Marketing and other VF technology teams.
Technical Skills:
Responsive Web Design
JQuery (Javascript Library)
Zurb Foundation (Responsive Framework)
Require JS (Asynchonous Module Definition)
Three JS (WebGL 3D Interface)
SCSS with BEM
Grunt JS
Lint JS and CSS - Code Quality
Node.js Web Application Development
Additional Nice to Have Skills:
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM),WebSphere Commerce, Java, JSP, JSTL, Apache Maven
Non-technical Skills:
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Desire to learn and keep in front of the technology curve
Experience with scaled agile team structures
Experience in matrixed organizations is a plus
Educational / Position Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or similarly related field
4+ years of professional experience with enterprise high performance customer facing web application.
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Minimum travel required (approximately 5%)
Ability to be flexible in additional hours when needed
