Senior Financial Analyst (DTC North America): Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
Vans is more than just any ordinary action sports footwear company. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide support and analysis for the North America DTC business through planning, forecasting, and reporting on 500+ stores and eCommerce within the Region. You will utilize your ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships by interacting regularly with all levels of personnel within Vans North America DTC business, partners across VF, and external 3rd party vendors across all functions of the business (lease accounting/administration, vendors, service providers).



How You Will Make a Difference:

Prepare and analyze monthly forecast for all North America DTC retail store occupancy expenses (i.e., rent, CAM, real estate taxes, % rent, etc.) Monitor and analyze actual costs & accruals vs. forecast, and liaise between Vans finance, VF corporate accounting, VF real estate and lease administration teams. Develop the annual capital plan and related monthly forecast updates, including depreciation and monitoring of fixed asset accounts. Identify and submit fixed asset disposals. Prepare and submit owned areas of the annual operating budget and 3 Year strategic plan with primary emphasis in North America occupancy, depreciation and capital budgets. Prepare periodic reporting (i.e, Sales, labor, P&L summaries, new location tracking, district/GEO reporting, investment analysis and ad hoc schedules as needed) Partner with the Business to develop, execute, and analyze in-store tests utilizing 3rd party software. Manage the quarterly fixture allocation process and related balance sheet reconciliation. Work with 3rd party fixture vendor to obtain needed information on fixture shipments and inventory valuation. Support other ad hoc projects/analyses as needed.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university (MBA a plus)
Capital expenditure/Fixed asset experience a plus
Prior lease administration experience a plus
Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills a must
Ability to demonstrate strong and effective communication with all levels of the organization and Senior Management
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and able to make good business decisions with little direction
Proficient computer skills (Advanced MS Excel, Access, Word)
Experience with SAP an COGNOS a plus

Willing and able to work additional hours when needed
