Junior Photographer: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
As the Junior Photographer at Vans, you will be in a highly creative environment shooting photography for various departments to include: eCommerce, Marketing, Events, Global Creative Services and Public Relations. In this position, you will have a heavy focus on studio photography with high visibility. You will bring expertise in strobe lighting, understanding Lightroom, and Photoshop. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with our Art Directors and an opportunity to shoot lifestyle campaigns, events, as well as public relations needs.
It is critical that youre able to balance both taking feedback and adding value to the team. As the Jr. Photographer, your sense of self-motivation will allow you to prioritize a large volume of different projects, ensuring projects are completed when deadlines set. We are a company that is always seeking progress while staying true to our ideals of authenticity and innovation. Attention to detail and relationship building is a must! By interacting and partnering with Art and Creative Directors, you will ensure all goals of the department are achieved. Most importantly, your love for the Vans brand, and for building strong partnerships, will only further enhance your role on this highly creative, dynamic team.
How You Will Make a Difference:
You will be shooting product photography Simple photo retouching You will manage our studio schedule which includes outside photographers You must be able to work on multiple projects at once. Flexible to work some nights and weekends. You will manage our in-house photo studio. Collaborate with various departments to ensure creative is met and shoots are completed on time. You will manage a high volume of shoots while meeting deadlines Ability shoot events for Vans Global
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
A Bachelors degree or related field and a minimum of
Experience working in the industry, specifically doing studio product photography
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Travel by air
Lifting and/or bending 40lbs amount of weight.
