Senior Manager, Retail Store Operations: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family The Sr. Manager, Retail Store Operations will develop, implement, and effectively deliver mass and targeted performance metrics to internal audiences consistent with company strategy, values, and culture. You are responsible for the development of a performance management strategy and ongoing communications cadence that drives delivering added shareholder value. This role interacts, influences, and works with leadership teams across Vans to collect, organize, and formulate reports and analysis applicable to our retail stores. You will oversee the team of Retail Project Managers within the Vans Store Operations team. You are skilled at creating impactful reports that highlight our Key Performance Metrics (KPIs), collaborating with others to build strong partnerships and must be comfortable interacting with and influencing all levels of management. You are customer focused and can build relationships through listening, integrity, and trust. In this role, you are a member of the Retail Operations Team and report to the Senior Director of Retail Operations. How You Will Make a Difference: • Manage and implement StoreForce (store reporting and scheduling tool) relations, changes in reporting, customization, new functionality as well as the hierarchy/user profiles to deliver maximized potential on this business-critical application. • Manage and implement Foresee relations, changes, reporting, customization, new functionality, and hierarchy/user profiles to deliver upon peak season CSXA feedback. • Identify opportunities to further enhance the customer experience and add shareholder value. Assume the role of retail operations systems liaison/UI expert. Collect and provide feedback on performance of One Commerce applications (MPOS/BOPIS/SFS/SRMS/ETC) to deliver the best experience for our internal and external customer, thus driving our Omni Channel initiatives. • Deliver weekly business health reporting, business metrics and in store web reporting, which has delivered a constant look into the business for our field leaders that drives the ability for our teams to execute for success. • Manage and report on Peak Season reward and recognition strategies. • Provide Bi-Weekly reporting to all regions to keep Stores/District Managers/Regional Directors engaged during contest periods. Coordinate across North America (NORA) for timely bonus payouts to deliver HeartShare to all levels of the Vans Family. • Deliver and manage the Sales and Labor Expectations and Targets monthly and on time and use intuitive thought process to assign goals by store. Do this by having schedule commitments front of mind for Canada and US Stores. • Deliver yearly reporting with the future in mind by building yearly reporting that highlight future opportunities by store including KPI, Customer Satisfaction, Vans Family. • Manage and compile all levels of Bonus reporting by partnering with the Finance Department on KPI deliverables and sales files monthly to ensure that we add value to the community of caring strategy and reward high performance in a timely manner. • Manage and develop the role of the Project Managers to fulfill our promise to deliver the best experience possible to our internal and external customer and innovate through these two business-critical areas of retail operations. Skills for Success: Years of Related Professional Experience: 8-10+ years Educational/ Position Requirements: • A Bachelors degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 8 years general management experience in the Retail field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: • Travel by air and overnight, as required 25% amount of time. • Lifting and/or bending 25lbs amount of weight.
