Service Delivery Engineer, Elevated Design: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family The primary responsibility of the Service Delivery Engineer Elevated Design is to Enable VF employees to use technology to make them work more efficient. Providing exceptional service that our VF employees look forward to engaging with. Adhering to financial budgets and company policy to help VF grow powerful brands. This individual will work closely with business users to proactively address technologies needs of the creative & product design group as well as on-going IT support in a global enterprise environment supporting product designers based in different locations across the US and Europe. The individual will also provide solution and engineering assistance focusing mainly on Mac design based technologies, but including Windows as well. The responsibilities will include keeping up with technology & design industry trend, evaluating, designing, developing and managing computer images, self-services infrastructure, evaluating new technologies, engineering desktop solutions and resolving design technology-related problems. In this role, this individual will assist GBT & Business Stakeholders, project managers in the proposing, evaluating, planning and establishing technical direction of design based projects to implement technology solutions to drive business growth. How You Will Make a Difference: • Incident resolution via global ITSM tool • Task Resolution via global ITSM tool • Technology Evangelist • Deep Understanding of Apple OS and IOS products • Highly experienced in Apple based Creative Design software • Installation and Support of company required hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, IPT, scanners, phones, PDA,etc..) and software. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platform, local Area Networks and the Wide area Network. • Maintenance and monitoring of local cable infrastructure • Be a resource to the IT Platforms that may need assistance with Projects and support of the day to day IT Infrastructure at the location they support • Responsibly maintain an accurate inventory following Asset Management policy • Handling of faulty devices • Create Accurate documentation • Monitor performance and provide feedback to the Area Lead or Delivery Coordinator • Gather requirements • Investigate need of user training • Provide User helpdesk and tech bar type roles for face to face engagement with GBT Skills for Success: Years of Related Professional Experience: 10+ years Educational/ Position Requirements: • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science • Experience working in the in Large Enterprise IS/IT environment, In depth technical knowledge of workstation hardware and software, printers, network devices, and peripheral equipment like scanners, RF gun, USB headset/speakers etc. • Language skills: Fluent in English, written and oral. Knowledge of other languages is an asset • Technical certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) with additional Certifications in Productivity Applications and Pro Applications (eg. ACTC, ACSA, ACMA, ACMT) • Certified JAMF Casper Administrator is preferred • Analytical Skills: Yes • Influence and Leadership of small technical teams consisting of peers • Ability to Engage with business Executives and leadership to communicate GBT processes and services • Expert level knowledge in supporting integrated Mac and Windows platforms in an enterprise environment with JAMF Casper and SCCM with strong knowledge of self-service software deployment process leveraging JAMF • Expert level in Apple Operating System (Mac OS & iOS) • Support and administration with Adobe Creative Suit products • AppleScript and Bash Shell languages • MAC interoperability with Windows centric enterprise, AD, LDAP and Kerberos Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: • Some travel may be required. • Lifting and/or bending 30lbs amount of weight.
