North America Retail Marketing Manager: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family The world of Retail is evolving at a rapid pace. As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will be an instrumental part of this ever evolving retail world, establishing how we go to market within this essential channel. You will create and execute marketing plans, partnering closely with key stakeholders to ensure all activations, programs, and experiences ladder up Vans global strategies. The goals are to drive consumers to Vans Retail stores and to ensure once the consumer is in the store, they are captivated and immersed into a complete VANS experience. How You Will Make a Difference: Build a holistic Retail Marketing plan for Vans in the US that can be replicated more broadly across Canada and Mexico. Be an active participant in the Go to Market process, ensuring key Global Marketing stories come to life through activations at retail, content, seasonal promotions, and elevated retail experiences. Define segmentation strategy for all retail brand experiences and activations. Promote Retail Marketing activations and experiences linking to digital platforms, including Vans Family. Knowledge of macro and micro trends influencing Retail and inspiring youth culture today. Create engaging, memorable and interactive Retail brand experiences that appeal to all 5 senses. Build a strong network of relationships across the brand pillars and leverage partnerships and insights for hyperlocal activation. Focus on the whats next in Retail, managing strategic marketing projects for NORA Retail. Skills for Success: Years of Related Professional Experience: 5-7+ years of professional experience in Brand Marketing and/or Retail Marketing. Educational/ Position Requirements:
⏵ A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years program or project leadership experience in marketing or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
⏵ Strong knowledge of the current retail landscape.
⏵ Ability to work cross-functionality and influence strategy.
⏵ Strong knowledge of macro and micro trends in major North American cities. Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
⏵ Travel by air and overnight, as required 30% amount of time.
⏵ Lifting and/or bending 30 lbs amount of weight.
