Public Relations Music Seeding Coordinator: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family Be a part of Vans legacy and help us tell the story of our brand to key opinion leaders all around the world. As the Public Relations Music Seeding Coordinator, you will assist in the development and execution of seeding initiatives to publicize Vans products including footwear, apparel and accessories to musicians around the world. In this role, you will utilize public relations and digital skills to promote and elevate Vans products to select artists, musicians, and music industry. Working on the Global Brand Communications team, you will strategically enhance the process for seeding initiatives directed at the music industry. You will work in step with the Global Brand Marketing team and partner closely with the Creative Services, Product Development, Product Marketing and Environmental Design teams to ensure the seeding materials are ordered and developed to meet the respective deadlines. You will also conduct competitive research and outreach for new musicians and management relevant to the Vans brand ethos and measure success quarterly. Being in the global marketing organization, you will be exposed to Vans key markets worldwide and partner with all regional seeding experts to streamline the seeding process to maximize brand resources. How You Will Make a Difference: Assist the PR team in orchestrating seasonal seeding initiatives for global key stories Facilitate seeding product requests for Global artists, musicians and management Your diverse experiences and background enable you to provide a unique perspective to fuel our global growth. Additionally, you are inclusive and value differing points of view. Assist PR team with brainstorming and conceptualizing the development of seeding kit materials across all Vans product categories. Partner closely with Vans Creative Services and Environmental Design teams to develop seeding experiences Track and manage all expenses associated with seeding (product, materials, shipping, etc.) Manage and place promotional product orders and shipments Monitor and record ROI for all seeding placements Develop recaps to show budget and return on investment with visual representation of Vans key product placements Maintain Vans Global contact database and music seeding roster Research and track competitor seeding initiatives Develop and maintain Global Product Seeding timelines with appropriate deadlines inclusive of ideation, product ordering, production times and execution deadlines Skills for Success: Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years Educational/ Position Requirements: • Bachelors degree • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years general work experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism within the Action Sports, Music, Fashion and Entertainment industry Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: • Travel by road, air and overnight, as required 20-30% amount of time. • Lifting and/or bending up to 40 lbs. of weight.
