eCommerce Site Merchandiser: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
As the eCommerce Site Merchandiser, you will help to grow the digital business by driving a best-in-class consumer experience. You will focus on optimizing the merchandising presentation for Vans.com and Vans.ca and its mobile sites while prioritizing the overall strategies and goals of Vans from a consumer-centric approach. You will identify friction points along the consumer journey and adjust to provide an optimal experience that combines both content and commerce. Additionally, you will lead the charge for identifying and driving site improvements through web data analysis and responding to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrive in fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

⏵ Apply strategies focused on key conversion drivers, optimal site presentation, maximizing consumer engagement and experience.
⏵ Work with marketing and buying partners to ensure the site appropriately communicates key messages, aligns with campaign creative and highlights seasonally relevant merchandise.
⏵ Effectively build elevated consumer experiences by utilizing brand marketing assets to develop merchandising strategies to be shared out with the team regularly.
⏵ Analyze consumer insights to influence future onsite marketing and merchandising decisions.
⏵ Measure Key Performance Indicators and evaluate performance of site content to develop efficiency strategies surrounding Product Listing Page (PLP), Product Detail Page (PDP) and attribution.
⏵ Drive site improvements to completion with Buyers, Content, Marketing, Site Experience, Data Analysts and other Merchandisers to ensure correct site layout and cross-site consistency.
⏵ Gather and analyze relevant consumer journey and merchandising data and generate reporting to share out with cross-functional business partners in an easily digestible format.
⏵ Execute and maintain accuracy within assigned categories including correct product categorization, attribution, bundling, cross sells, PLP merchandising, product removal and link management.
⏵ Conduct competitive research to understand competitor trends and provide recommendations based on findings.
Skills for Success:
Educational/ Position Requirements:
⏵ Bachelors degree
⏵ 3 5 years ecommerce experience
⏵ Proficient in Google docs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
⏵ A keen eye for design and strong interest in translating our brand aesthetic through Site Merchandising
⏵ Working knowledge of the Vans customer and competitive set
⏵ Demonstrated knowledge of web functionality and proficiency in web analytic tools such as GA and Adobe Analytics
⏵ Experience working with Bloomreach, Smart Merchandiser or Clicktale a plus
⏵ Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations and to make decisions to implement
⏵ Creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and implement ideas that will drive business results
⏵ Able to work actively with immediate team and cross-functional partners to solve problems
⏵ Decisive with the ability to listen to differing points of view and determine an appropriate solution to drive the best customer experience
⏵ Able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines while delivering resolutions
⏵ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
