Employee Relations Advisor: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

As the ER Advisor, you will be responsible for managing HR areas for select functions within HR including employment, staffing, diversity, EEOC/Affirmative Action, employee relations, training and development, benefit and compensation administration and compliance with state and federal requirements. Responsible for the implementation and execution of HR projects and programs. You will have the unique opportunity to help stand up our ER Center of Excellence while supporting both Vans and The North Face retail locations.

How You Will Make a Difference:
! Execute and support sponsored employee relations activities and programs, inclusive of corporate and brand-focused needs
! Ability to effectively manage relationships with Client Group HRBPs and managers across retail locations
! Work with employees and management to help mediate or resolve issues
! You may assist in the development of internal audit procedures assessing employee relation practices
! Document employee relations investigations, exit interviews, and process/policy recommendations
! Provide employees with support and guidance to address their concerns in areas including teamwork, communication, and leadership among others.
! Support district managers and HR partners with associate development by providing guidance on coaching, counseling, and performance management.
! Conduct internal investigations on workplace situations and prepares all required documentation with a focus on issue resolution within assigned region/area.
! Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding all cases in designated tools.
! Partner with district managers and HR partners on the development of corrective action and implementation of performance improvement plans.
! Partner with Client Group HRBPs to align follow up actions involving associates, managers, and/or teams.
! Manages requests for other employee relations processes, including off-boarding, exit interviews, LOA/ADA requests, escalated unemployment claims, and other processes as assigned.
! Assists with drafting, updating and maintaining VF policies and provides coaching and performance recommendations in alignment with them.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:
! Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related fields preferred
! 1-3 years of corporate and retail experience preferred
! Experience establishing a new role or startup function within an organization preferred
! Ability to maintain positive relationships to support employees, managers, and HRBP clients both in person and remotely
! Occasional Travel up to 15%
! Understanding of retail operations is a plus

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
! Travel by air and overnight, as required ~35%+ amount of time VF locations amount of time.
