Senior Director, Brand Environments: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
This highly creative role is the key driver of the brand presentation at all levels of retail, wholesale, and brand activations. You will work closely with the Creative Team, DTC leadership, Global Marketing, and all members of the Regional Visual Merchandising team to ensure the Brand vision is consistent across all channels and regions. As a Senior Director of Brand Environments, you will work closely with the Executive Creative Director and their team to bring the brand to life in our own store environments and brand spaces, while a consistent look and experience and communicating the brand values to our consumers.
How You Will Make a Difference:
⏵ You will oversee and lead the Environmental Design department and design of all stores, shop in shops and brand spaces.
⏵ Instrumental in directing all processes and projects related to visual merchandising and in-store space presentation for both Vans retail and wholesale businesses.
⏵ Manage fixturing and POP programs.
⏵ Partner closely with Creative to build in-store visual plans and with our Visual Merchandising team to implement creative, including corporate branding elements.
⏵ Lead the creation and management of internal merchandising programs, including offices, trade show booths and showrooms.
⏵ Collaborate closely with our regional Retail Merchandising teams to maximize product sell thru.
⏵ Manages budgeting process.

Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 10-12+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
⏵ Bachelors Degree (BA) or equivalent from a four-year college, preferably in merchandising, design.
⏵ Five or more years, at a Director level, merchandising retail spaces across both wholesale and retail.
⏵ Experience working in the fashion, footwear, or action sports industry
⏵ Masters Degree Preferred.
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
⏵ Travel by air and overnight, as required 30% of time.
