Manager eCommerce Analytics: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family

The Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible for managing in-depth analysis and reporting of all activity on shop.vans.com. This position is instrumental in the development and delivery of business intelligence reporting with actionable data analysis easily accessible to business decision makers. This role enables and empowers the shop.vans.com organization with analytic insight to support planning, tactical execution, and optimization of the customer experience. Establish control-related standards and procedures.

How You Will Make a Difference:
! Create, conduct and refine ongoing analysis of business performance required to support site decisions on a daily basis.
! Partner with marketing, merchandising, operations and technology teams, as well as other VF brands to maximize results through in-depth analysis and actionable recommendations.
! Develop, manage and execute the site SEO strategy, including third party partners as appropriate. Responsible for driving incremental qualified traffic, resulting in revenue.
! Responsible for fully understanding the functionality and application of website analytics tools, using this knowledge to answer business questions and directly report findings to the business decision makers.
! Assist in developing presentations for senior executives.
! Responsible to stay informed about, communication, and apply new or current trends and best practices in customer and marketing analytics, and eCommerce website design.
! Manage the A/B testing tool and the third party partner relationship. Recommend, implement and evaluate tests that improve the consumer experience and support the business needs.
! Responsible for various site functionality tools and vendors, including customer satisfaction measurement, product recommendations and on-site search.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 8+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:
! A Bachelors degree in a quantitative field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
! Experience working with web analytics, particularly in an eCommerce/retail environment
! Have a thorough understanding of the Internet, online shopping, web design/layout and navigation.
! Possess strong analytic skills and mindset, and the ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly.
! Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to details.
! Be a highly motivated self-starter. Must be comfortable working independently to achieve successful results with minimal guidance.
! Have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting in front of groups.
! Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
! Confidently handle multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines.
! Possess proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
! Have an understanding of effective report/dashboard design and standards.
! Be able to translate data analysis into business recommendations.
! Have the ability to approach complex challenges in an organized manner.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
! Travel by air and overnight, as required 5% of time.
! Lifting and/or bending 25lbs.
