Retail Facilities Coordinator: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

In this position you will support the national maintenance and repairs program for multiple VF Outdoor & Action Sports Coalition retail stores. You will be responsible of making sure our facilities team represents each brands standard so that we are able to bring the full shopping experience to our Vans, The North Face, Timberland, Kipling, Workrite, Icebreaker, and Dickies customers. How You Will Make a Difference:

1) Under the guidance and general supervision of the Retail Facilities Manager, or Director of Facilities:
! Manage day-to-day technical and high cost maintenance and repair trades such as (i.e. HVAC, electrical, lighting) along with other assigned trades, for all coalition retail stores in the U.S, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico ensuring all preventative maintenance and work order requests are scheduled and performed in an effective/efficient manner.
! Maintain and utilize the ServiceChannel Maintenance management system to maximize customer (Stores) satisfaction, by doing this, you are placing maximum emphasis on positive and immediate response to the concerns and needs of our customers and retail store teams.
! Service Provider management: Service Level Agreement management and negotiation, Service policies and procedures, contract management, RFPs, and ensure vendor compliance with service level contracts and insurance requirements.
! Service Channel work order administration: Manage the day-to -day work orders for your specified trades
! React to the Service Automation reports to increase our overall Customer and Store service satisfaction, problem resolutions, cost reductions, cost avoidance, process improvements.
! Utilizing Service Channels Fixxbook vendor management tools to increase our trade performance.

2) Coordinate various Roll Out projects as assigned
! Mini-refreshes, small works projects, painting, signage, fixture, etc.

3) Coordinate store closings utilizing the already established process and procedures

4) Project / Process management: Establish collaboration with various internal teams to increase the success of not only the Retail Facilities team, but also the success of the team with which Retail Facilities regularly works with through the flow of information and steady communications: Leasing & Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and Loss Prevention.

5) Ability to work flexible hours as required, occasionally taking emergency calls after hours and weekends in support of the Direct To Consumer process.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 4+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:
! Bachelors Degree preferred, plus 4+ years of experience in facilities coordination in a Retail environment (or equivalent combination of both).
! Project management and/or trades experience helpful.
! Broad range of technical knowledge and responsibilities including all interior and exterior elements of the retail store chain including, but not limited to: building structure, walls and roofing, HVAC systems, electrical power systems, lighting systems, plumbing systems, fire protection and safety systems, utility systems, trash/waste management, general maintenance, long term, facility improvements, etc.
! Ability to manage budgets and forecast; Provide robust reporting to management on status of respective capital and expense projects.
! Coordinate scheduling and monitor day-to-day performance and issue resolution.
! Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and contract documents.
! Ability to manage Service Providers for retail facilities maintenance and repair. Prepare RFPs for individual service requests as well as preventive maintenance contracts and troubleshoot specific technical issues as necessary to resolve issues.
! Ability to work independently in a high impact, multiple task environment.
! Motivated, customer service oriented
! Outstanding interpersonal skills
! Good verbal and written, computer & communication skills, Excel, Word, and related software applications.
! Bilingual English / Spanish (not necessary but desired)

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
! Travel by air and overnight, as required 5% amount of time.
! Lifting and/or bending 50 lbs. amount of weight.
! Willingness to work occasional irregular hours, by monitoring the ServiceChannel Web Based Maintenance Management System and responding to after hours and weekend emergency service requests
