Director, DTC Technology: Become the Newest Member of the Vans FamilyThe Director, DTC Technology is responsible for developing Vans integrated DTC technology roadmap, bringing it to life and ensuring its seamless ongoing operation. This person must have a passion for creating a fully integrated end-to-end consumer experience, powered by technology. The Director, DTC Technology will nurture a collaborative environment between technology and business leaders, moving initiatives through the development cycle.

How You Will Make a Difference:1. Partner with the VF Digital Technology team to align a long-range strategic plan encompassing all technology components to deliver an integrated consumer experience. Develop strong partnerships with technology and functional leaders to drive focus on the strategic program objectives and optimize program delivery.2. Partner with the Digital Technology team to identify and champion the best solutions that meet the goals of being an omnichannel business. Determine optimal roll out of capabilities and integrations based on consumer experience and ROI metrics. Constantly evaluate new and emerging technologies that support a best-in-class DTC retailer. 3. Act as the point of contact for implementing technology, driving stakeholder alignment and transition management plans that enable the strategic roadmap.4. Build and lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver business objectives for complex and cross-functional programs. Works with business partners to gather functional requirements. Form alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements and vendor contract clarification.5. Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership.6. Ensure communication and alignment across teams contributing to common program goals.7. Promote a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency and promotes continuous improvement.

Skills for Success:Years of Related Professional Experience: 10+ years

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, with 7-10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Technology leader within a DTC organization, with a deep understanding of retail and ecommerce technologies and business practices. Advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines. Outstanding communication skills; able to articulate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences. Must be able to understand and incorporate business imperatives, technology trends and current capabilities to create an integrated strategy that is compelling, realistic and achievable.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: Minimum travel required (approximately 15-20%) Willing and able to work additional hours when needed Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25lbs, depending on need
