Manager, Global Brand Marketing, Art: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
In partnership with the Sr. Director of Global Brand Marketing, the Manager, Brand Marketing Art will lead Vans global initiatives and strategy in art. You will be responsible for driving the development, implementation and measurement of global art marketing strategies and tactics, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work with high-profile artists, galleries and organizations, while acting as an internal thought leader and resource to counterparts in the region as well as global creative and product.This is a highly visible growth opportunity to build on Vans established foundation and relationships with graffiti, street and tattoo artists, muralists, illustrators and film makers.
How You Will Make a Difference:
⏵ Design and implement short and long-term global marketing strategies based on art industry knowledge, consumer insights and understanding of Vans business drivers.
⏵ Develop global art initiatives and programs that are regionally relevant and integrated across digital, brand communications, and experiential.
⏵ Foster global industry relations with artists, galleries, museums and organizations. Leverage network to identify opportunities and maximize brand partnerships and ambassador programs.
⏵ Act as an internal thought leader and resource to marketing, creative and product teams. Educate the organization on emerging artists, industry trends and opportunities to integrate art throughout the brand.
⏵ Build relationships with regional marketing teams, agencies and consultants, maintaining communication to ensure global consistency. Partner with global creative and digital marketing to develop branded art content.
⏵ Track, analyze and report on seasonal programs and partnerships.

Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5-7 years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
⏵ A Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of 5 years general experience in the Marketing/Art field, ideally with a consumer brand or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
⏵ Deep understanding of and contacts within the art industry
⏵ Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills
⏵ Naturally collaborative, with the ability to grow and leverage relationships at all levels
⏵ Ability to manage high-profile projects and maintain a strong sense of confidentiality
⏵ Strong verbal and written communication skills
⏵ Passion for Vans creative culture and art
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
⏵ Travel by air and overnight, as required 30% amount of time.
