Analyst, Supply Chain Operations - DTC: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
Vans the global icon of creative expression in youth culture has been curious and fearless since 1966. As a member of the Supply Chain Operations- Direct to Consumer Department, the Analyst will work directly with the Sr. Manager to perform analysis in support of the companys inventory optimization, service level and speed-to-market goals and strategies. The role requires retrieving, summarizing and analyzing large production data sets to help measure the results of existing projects and evaluate scenarios for projects under consideration. This role will act as a link between the operations, retail, and eCommerce organizations to ensure accuracy and translation of data between systems and processes.
How You Will Make a Difference:
You will establish, develop, and re-create Vans retail reporting using automated data links with IP, AWS, RDW, UAP, SAP, & PKMS. You will be a part of the development of Alteryx and Excel-based inventory and supply-chain network models to inform strategic decisions on service (in-stock) vs. cost (inventory carrying costs, parcel shipping cost). You will maintain VF Direct to Consumer Product Flow model templates and version control to all supported brands and regions. You will analytical support of development of retail strategic operational strategies based on data trending and analysis. You will work closely with DTC, Customer Service, Production, Distribution, Sourcing & Logistics to complete weekly reporting. You will work on management sponsored projects and/or process improvements projects including business case & ROI analysis. You will be responsible for monthly inventory reporting analysis across 3 countries supporting the supply chain and retail monthly cycle. You will be responsible for communication of KPI analysis and dashboard development.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
⏵ A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics or related field and a minimum of 5 years general management experience in the Supply Chain or Data analysis field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
⏵ Experience working in the Retail, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent industry.
⏵ Masters Degree Preferred.
⏵ Proven Excel skills in using VBA, macro creation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Index and advanced nested formulas.
⏵ Experience with large data set analytic software i.e. Alteryx, Oracle Advanced Analytics, or other similar programs. Ability to build moderate to complex simulation models in advanced analytic software and drop into excel to run what-if analysis.
⏵ Attention to detail and qualitymust rigorously check own work for accuracy
⏵ Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
⏵ Ability to create executive presentations in PowerPoint for review with all levels of executives.
⏵ Excellent communication (oral & written) skills
