This position is responsible for managing all areas of HR for select functions within HR including employment, staffing, diversity, EEOC/Affirmative Action, employee relations, training and development, benefit and compensation administration and compliance with state and federal requirements. Responsible for the implementation and execution of HR projects and programs.
The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for employee relations services across the various VF businesses. Under broad supervision the partner will:
Execute and support sponsored employee relations activities and programs within an organization
Work with employees and management to help mediate or resolve issues
May assist in the development of internal audit procedures assessing employee relation practices
Help compile exit interview documentation
Using a standard toolset:
Provide employees with support and guidance to address their concerns in areas including teamwork, communication, and leadership among others.
Support managers with associate development by providing guidance on coaching, counseling, and performance management.
Conduct internal investigations on workplace situations and prepares all required documentation with a focus on issue resolution within assigned region/area.
Partner with managers on the development of corrective action and implementation of performance improvement plans
