Senior Director, Sales, Strategic Accounts: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family

We are searching for an individual that stands out from the rest; one who catches our eyes with their confident demeanor and unwavering curiosity. We need someone who is a visionary with a stream of innovative ideas that will lead our strategic accounts into their next chapter of growth thru a laser focus on the consumer. We are looking for a strategic business driver who can elevate our business to next level growth with enhanced partnership. In this role, this individual is responsible for driving the Go To Market (GTM) process across the US sales team. They will ensure that strategic apparel and footwear initiatives are executed to the highest standards. This individual is responsible for leading and coaching the strategic key account team to propel our strategic initiatives. They will be responsible for delivering brand and financial goals and positioning the brand for long term health.

This position is fast paced and will be responsible for driving some of our most dynamic wholesale partnerships. This person will be a key liaison for connecting sales, merchandising and marketing to develop a collective vision across the brand that comes to life within each of our accounts. Looking for someone who leads with a balanced art | science approach, cultivating teams with passion and empathy, driving results and bringing new thinking to life while grounding every decision with data.

How You Will Make a Difference:

Initiate the Go-To-Market (GTM) processes throughout U.S. Wholesale with a specific focus on key strategic accounts, apparel and footwear. Communicate needs of business that support long term growth plans.Validation of decisions with data driven insights and development of strategic plans to drive business solutions. Hone in on white space to deliver growth specific to consumer needs within each unique business. Establish and refresh long term strategic growth plans for each account to ensure long term success. Development and mentorship of team to deliver results and engagement. Partner with global counterparts to drive synergy across business. Drive with digital first approach.Fuel business with innovative tactics to unlock digital momentum.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 12+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

A Bachelors degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 10 years general management experience in the Wholesale, Retail, Buying, or Merchandising field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Experience working in the Sales / Retail industry

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

Travel by air and overnight, as required 35-40% amount of time.

Lifting and/or bending 20 lbs amount of weight.
