Global Digital Brand Communications Sr. Manager At Vans, every conversation we have with our consumers is a meaningful representation of our purpose to enable creative expression. Your main responsibility will be to develop a global integrated media strategy, grounded in digital and social, that drives globally consistent messages across locally relevant platforms. You will evaluate effective paid media platforms that speak directly to Vans global target consumer and inform the Global Marketing and Creative teams on the resources needed to be successful across those platforms. Learning from your partners from around the world, you will utilize your understanding of digital analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of global paid campaigns and work to evolve them year after year. Finally, you will partner with the Global Brand Communications team to ensure integration of media tactics that drive brand heat, influencer strategies and branded content opportunities that work in sync to tell a holistic story to Vans consumers around the world. How You Will Make a Difference What you will do:

Work with the Global Brand Communications team to create a paid media strategy that works in sync with earned and owned media to tell a holistic story across the consumer communications journey

Collaborate with the Global Marketing team on seasonal briefs that inform the Global Creative team on globally relevant paid media assets

Collaborate with regional partners around best practices and industry/consumer insights, standardization of reporting, and represent their paid media needs on behalf of them to global partners to ensure optimal/effective campaigns

How you will do it:

Use a consumer-centric, insight-driven approach, to drive message clarity and effectiveness, global strategies and partnerships, through a deep understanding of the global media landscape, cultural trends, and media consumption

Diplomacy and cross-functional collaboration with global and regional partners, in order to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders

Work closely with global media agency partner to provide strategic guidance for paid media to regional partners, occasional execution of paid media, high level organic support, industry research, and ensure accurate and timely reporting

What success looks like:

Development of seasonal integrated media strategies and tactics for targeted audience segments

Strategic and innovative use of Social Media platform approaches into go to market process

Stewardship of global reporting dashboard for KPI assessment and marketing optimization

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What we expect you already know:

Experience and/or training preferably in youth marketing, fashion, and/or action sports marketing in the digital space.

Must have passion for and deep understanding of all things digital, especially social media platforms and mobile.

Must be able to plan and optimize digital communications strategy through data insights.

Working knowledge of platforms including YouTube, WeChat, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and new emerging platforms

Partner with VF to establish global consumer minded KPIs for digital reporting, and works with Brand Communications team globally and regionally on report templates and frameworks
